Bio

Since 1992, Attorney T Shea Cook has built a reputation as a dependable, aggressive advocate who goes out of his way to ensure his clients get the best possible outcome for their situation. Serving clients in Richlands and through Southwest Virginia, Shea is a local who understands the layout of the legal landscape. He graduated from Richlands High School in 1984, then went on to graduate from Southwest Virginia Community College in1986, Virginia Tech in 1988, and George Mason School of Law in 1992.

Shea was commissioned as a U.S. Army Officer in 1988 and served in the Virginia Army National Guard for 30 years. In 2007, Shea serviced as a Command Judge Advocate in Baghdad in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2016, Shea retired as a Lt. Colonel in the JAG Corps. 

Shea has practiced law for over 25 years, representing men and women throughout Southwest Virginia. From Roanoke to Lee County, Tazewell to Bristol, and from the General District Court to the Virginia Supreme Court, Shea has been there. He has built a successful practice one client at a time, and has twice been on the cover of Virginia Lawyer’s Weekly.
